Day 32- Laurie's bday. I really miss my friends that I have worked with in the past, but am so thankful that Facebook and email exists to bring those people so much closer. Today was PLC day and it was truly wonderful at school. I feel like our school is really trying to center itself to student learning. We are all on board with that, but these days reaffirm what we r doing individually, collaboratively, as well as a district. I wish I could turn back time and some of those really great teachers I have worked with in the past were here to experience it. Love being treated like a professional.
Days 30-31. Thought I would come hom Monday and get laundry and stuff done, but boys ended up having pep and, so helped out in the concession stand. Great to see everyone, then found out that Ben wouldn't be home. Tues. so went ahead and worked concession stand again. It was fun too. Have really tried to eat healthy and was under calories both days. Thankful for the willpower to eat what was right. I can home and decided to make mud cake for chase, birthday soon. Called my dad and had a great conversation with my dad for his birthday and with my sister as well to make sure the frosting would turn out right. After trying to get the cake out of pan and completely destroying the cake it was truly an epic fail. Oh well will try again over the weekend.

Day 28-9 so tried to do something nice for Chase's upcoming bday today, but the Bayou was closed, so ended up at Olive street grill and it was good and so was the service, though I have heard differently. Last night was a wonderful time with my sweet sweet chosen girls. Tabby made a great dinner and the Help was just as good as the last time I watched it. Some one needs to answer me this why do brothers try to annoy each other and then annoy decided to annoy someone else? I love my boys and they are great boys, but I worry about the men that they will become right now with their not knowing when to stop. Maybe one day I will see it change. I do love them.
Days 26-27 life is so fragile that the important events have to be noticed and accepted. Thursday was spent working concession stand for band and having great conversation while working. Spent a wonderful evening Friday night with my children and Grays girlfriend Kayla. We played games, Chase won, and giggled. These little routine events are still so important to my kids lives, my life, and those I encounter through working at a school.

Days 23-5. So I have gotten 2 new students this week and got one of my old students from the beginning of the year back again today. We have gotten 9 new 5 th graders in the last 2 weeks. "Act with understanding and knowledge". I don't why all these students and their families picked Marionville, but I know to be understanding about their situations and knowledgable about how to teach them. The other item this week is "Love without consequences". Ben left Monday for Cali , and that is always hard for me to not give unintended consequences because I am missing him toward him or the boys. I am usually stressed, but right now feeling pretty good. Not too much on my plate with the boys or school. Approaching life with determination

Day21-What a GREAT. day. Went with Ben to KC to pick up a car. We ironed out a ton of details about our many upcoming trips on the ride up. We then ate BBQ at BBs BBQ. Really good sauce and meat, glad we decided to try somewhere new. We then went to Trader Joes just as gool as I had hoped and picked up some great stuff at great prices. We then headed to Best Buy to recycle a TV, talk about easy peasy, then went to flea market we had been to and didn't buy anything, but it was really cool. Found a killer clock we both fell in love with but $150 out of our budget. We then headed toward home, but had to stop at Undercliff for a burger. It was really such a great day to spend together with no real agenda. Thanks hubby for the great day and money spent at traders. Almost forgot UT almost beat KU, and was able to see our dear friend Chris, even if he is a Jayhawk. Seriously happiness is just living for an ordinary day doing things
